May we never take the great freedom we have for granted! Our freedom gives us privileges many will only ever dream of. Voting for our leaders and those who will represent us is one of them.

We are blessed as Kansans. And that means that we must be wise stewards, exercising sound business principles and fiscal responsibility. Whether we're dealing with issues of education, economic development, taxation, quality of life, or any other issue important to our district, we must be represented by a person who has strength and patience, resolve and fortitude. We must be represented by a person who can put experience and relationship to work to "make things happen" for our district and state.

SPEAKER: REP. KELLEY APPOINTED TO TRANSPARENCY BOARD
Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) announced today he has re-appointed Rep. Kasha Kelley to represent the House on the Public Finance Transparency Board.

“Rep. Kelley strongly believes Kansans should be able to see how every dollar of their tax money is spent by state agencies. She led the way when the Legislature established the Kansas Taxpayer Transparency Act,” Speaker Neufeld said. “Thanks to her leadership and never quit attitude, the state now has a searchable website where Kansans can learn about state revenue and spending. I am confident that as a board member, she will continue to fight for more open government.”
